Who is Mexa3D?

Since our foundation in 2016, the Mark3D has been Markforged’s exclusive partner in Europe. This clear brand alignment has proven successful for our customers, for Markforged and for us. Therefore, nothing will change. All colleagues in the Mark3D team are “The Markforged Experts”!

Notwithstanding this clear focus, our founders look with attentive eyes at the broader needs of our customers in the entire additive manufacturing environment.

When we talk to our customers about “Production at the Point of Need” – the clear strength of Markforged solutions – it always leads to customers and interested parties asking about materials and technologies that we cannot offer them today in the Mark3D portfolio.

High-speed polymer printing is increasingly a requirement here, both in prototype construction and for series parts with special material requirements.

Over a period of several months, a small team led by our CEO, Daniel Held, took an intensive look at the market and exchanged experiences with customers, manufacturers and trade partners.

We are pleased to present the result to you today:
Mexa3D – The Nexa Experts“, the European partner for Nexa3D high-speed polymer manufacturing solutions.

“With the same team of shareholders, the same motivation and the same corporate values, we will seek to build a complementary, non-competing, but equally clearly focused brand for these expanded needs as well,” said Daniel Held.

Mark3D and Mexa3D will have fun together like siblings, sometimes argue with each other, but always learn from each other and especially from you, our customers, and thus remain “The Experts” for additive manufacturing technologies for you in the future.

Welcome to the present, ready for the future.

Nexa3D: Innovative 3D printing technology for top performance

Nexa3D® represents state-of-the-art, industrial 3D printing technology. Headquartered in Ventura, California, the company provides innovative solutions for the highest print quality and efficiency. The unique and patented
Lubricant Sublayer Photo-curing (LSPc®)
-printing technology and the use of the latest resins enable impressive printing speeds with exceptional precision.

The advantages of Nexa3D®:

The LSPc technology used, with a self-lubricating, flexible diaphragm, minimizes separation forces and achieves maximum speeds. The entire surface of the build platform is always exposed at the same time, so that many components do not require more time than a single component. Only the amount of the print job is crucial.

A wide range of materials are validated and can be processed directly. Whether it’s rapid models made from translucent resins, prototypes of functional parts made from engineering materials, or end-user components and 3D-printed molds made from heat-resistant resins. Elastomer materials and materials for the dental sector can also be processed immediately.

The industrial 3D printers work with an open platform. This means that the software allows you to make all the settings. Thus, own resins or resins from any supplier can be used.

The resolution of the component is influenced by the resolution of the LCD display. With the 7K displays, pixel sizes of 46 µm can thus be mapped. This results in superior surface quality.

A special feature is the production of injection molds, so that finally tools for highly complex parts can be quickly designed, printed and injected with the injection molding material. The industrial materials xPEEK, xCeramic and xMold are perfectly suited for this purpose, whereby the xMold material can be dissolved to expose the underlying complex shape.

Both the industrial 3D printers and the software stand out for their ease of use, so you can start printing within minutes. With the Customer Settings, you still have an incredible number of settings to optimize prints to perfection.
